By engaging the services of Pet Butler Dog Walking (referred to as: Pet Butler) ABN: 89178484475 you are agreeing to be bound by the terms outlined in this document.
The client agrees to provide a collar or harness (with an ID tag attached) that the dog can not slip out of. This is very important as it ensures we avoid any dogs getting free while we have them on leash. The dog’s microchip details must also be up to date with correct contact details.
The client acknowledges that Pet Butler allows dogs to interact with one another off leash. Dogs can be unpredictable and consequently, injuries may occur - although we take great care to avoid such incidents. Pet Butler, or any of its employees, will not be held liable for any injury or loss, to the pet(s). This also includes any incident that may occur during the transportation of your dog.
The client agrees to inform Pet Butler of any known behavioural/aggression problems that their pet has with other animals, toys, food or humans. We do everything in our control to keep your dog(s) safe, however if your pet’s behaviour causes any loss or damage, you as the owner will be responsible. This is why it is vital that any behavioural issues are disclosed.
The client understands that all pets must be in good general health. Your pet must have all vaccinations up to date and be using current flea and tick prevention measures. If this is not the case, your dog will not be able to walk with us as it poses a health risk to the other dogs in our care. We also ask that you provide your vet clinic’s details and a vaccination certificate before we start walking your dog. Under no circumstances will Pet Butler, or its employees, be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, Injury, Death, Loss or Damages of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal while in the care of Pet Butler.
Should any pet become ill or injured while in the care of Pet Butler, we reserve the right to administer necessary aid, and, if necessary, transport the pet to a vet. Any expenses incurred are the responsibility of the client. Pet Butler will attempt to contact the pets own vet (if their details have been provided by the client), but reserves the right to transport the pet to another if necessary.
Any walks cancelled later than 7pm the night before will be charged at half of the usual rate. There is no charge for walks cancelled prior to this. If we are unable to gain access to the dog on the day or they are not home, the walk will be charged at the full rate. The reason we require advance notice is because we organise our walks on the previous day. We also have a restriction on the maximum number of dogs per walk. Late cancellations leave an empty space that could have been filled by another dog.
Pet Butler hold the right to take, publish and copyright photographs of your pet. By accepting these terms you give Pet Butler permission to use photographs of your pet in any media for any purpose.
