Walking is good for us. So it's no surprise that walking is good for our dogs too. Dogs, just like us, can become overweight and develop a number of diseases due to lack of exercise. Most dogs need to be walked at least once each day, although some dogs, particularly very energetic dogs, may require more. The breed of dog you have, its level of fitness and age will be determining factors in how active their walk should be. Aside from the many physical benefits, regular walking can also improve your dogs happiness and behaviour. We make sure they are well exercised (and relieved!) so you will come home to a happy dog.
Dogs have an incredible sense of smell and they like nothing more than having a sniff of their surroundings. Even if you had a yard the size of a cricket pitch for them to run around in, it would still be good for them go to the park.
So if you’re away from home for long periods, or just can't find the time to take your dog out yourself, a group dog walk and time at an off-leash park or beach is a great break for your dog, both in terms of exercise and socialisation.

Your pup will join an experienced Pet Butler pack leader and a small pack of furry friends for an hour-long adventure at the off-leash park or beach. Great for dogs with extra energy that love to play fetch and swim (if allowed)!

We don’t treat the dog park as simply a wild play area for our pack members. While at the park, we regularly work on off-leash recall, use positive reinforcement  (reward good behaviours), closely monitor all pack members’ behaviour. We also institute timeouts (on-leash time with the dog walker) when necessary. We have fun, but maintaining proper behaviour is our number one priority.

  • Initial meet and greet: We will come to your home for a quick meeting to make sure everyone is comfortable with each other. If all goes well, we can make arrangements for house keys (if required).
  • Day before the walk: We plan the dog walks by grouping dogs together based on size, temperament and activity levels.
  • On the day: We turn up in a modern and air-conditioned van and take your pup to an off-leash dog park or dog friendly beach for an hour of fun!
  • In the park: We take regular photos & videos of your dogs so you can see them in action.
  • After the walk: We return your dog home happy and exhausted. From pick-up to drop-off the whole adventure usually last between 70 minutes and 2 hours.
Maximum fun! Why go home after one group walk when you could have two or even three!? Perfect for dogs with bags of energy. They'll have a big day out for up to 6 hours with an experienced Pet Butler dog handler. Plus they will get to socialise with more dogs and run at least double the distance. All of our Doggy Daycare rates include a discount as standard! How good is that!?
If you would prefer Pet Butler to take your pup on an individual on-leash dog walk, we will try our best to accommodate. Because we have dogs on board for most of the day, this kind of dog walk is best suited to early in the morning or in the afternoon when we have finished the daily group walks. Send your enquiry directly to Chris via the contact form or SMS for a prompt response.
